Started in 1982 by our company’s founder, Jack Taylor, the Enterprise Holdings Foundation was established to allow the company to give back to the communities where our customers and employees live and work.

We’re committed to supporting endeavors that make a difference in the communities where we operate, from local neighborhoods to the biggest cities. With our Enterprise Holdings Foundation, we take special pride in our practice of giving financial support to worthwhile non-profit initiatives that are actively supported by our employees, their spouses, and loyal customers. In fact, more than 90 percent of grants made by the Foundation go to causes that interest our employees or customers.

Since its inception, our Foundation has contributed more than $200 million US dollars to thousands of local non-profit organisations. In FY2015 alone, our Foundation provided $27.5 million US dollars in grant funding to charitable causes.

We assist many local causes by providing a 50 percent match of our employees' contributions to United Way campaigns throughout their communities. We provide more sizable grants to non-profit groups or causes of significant strategic or social importance to our company and our employees. And, as the need arises, we often support important relief efforts in the wake of natural disasters and other crises that affect our customers and our employees.
